LEADERS & AMBASSADORS

Form to be completed by Leaders and Ambassadors

https://bit.ly/PopeBelgiumHopeHappeningAmbassadorsLeaders

You will be contacted by the coordination team.

Leaders

Leaders are those who represent, bring along and guide a group of young people at the Event. Registrations for this function can be done by the leader within the context of group registrations.

Leaders are focussed on caring for young people for whom they are responsible and cannot take on other tasks.

More concrete information for leaders will follow.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors are those who move in Christian oryouth circles but have no responsibility for a group of young people. These can be adults, young professionals, priests, pastors, people active in the parish or community, etc.

These people can take on various tasks:

  • Spreading the word about the Event and motivating as many young people and youth movements as possible to register for the Event.
  • They can distribute or hang up leaflets and posters in local communities (you can request these via communication@hopehappening.be).
  • They can help as a volunteer at the Event
  • Promote the Event through their own social media channels.

sCHOOLS

The Hope Happening and the Pope's visit are an ideal opportunity for schools to highlight religious belief, reflection and spirituality.

In this context, all schools and their management will receive a letter where we call on them to create a banner (1m by 2 - preferably on a white canvas) on which students express what “HOPE” means to them.

The schools can take their banners to Brussels Expo where they will be hung to form an image of what hope means to young people today.

Schools are free to take even more initiatives in the context of ‘faith and hope’.

Religion Teachers

Together with schools and school administrations, religious teachers are also invited to contribute with their school around the theme of ‘faith and hope’

MOVEMENTS & ASSOCIATIONS

Youth movements

All youth movements, mainly Christian Youth Associations, are encouraged to participate in the Hope Happening as a group. The link with the Eucharistic Celebrationon Sunday makes this an unforgettable and meaningful event for all.

Associations

Other associations, such as Senior Citizen Associations, Parent Committees, etc…, can become important promoters of this Event amongst young people.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Are you leading a parish group of confirmands, post-confirmands or young people? Take part with your group.

Diocesian pastoral services

Every Belgian diocese has a youth ministry service, with a wide range of Church sensitivities and

affiliations (deaneries, communities, etc.), to support the youth evangelization dynamic.

sTANDS

We want to give youth organisations the opportunity to make their voices heard. That is why there will be stands from 2pm to 6pm.

These stands offer you the opportunity to make yourself or your company/organisation known, but should also be an opportunity for young people to experience something.

We want to avoid pure advertising and ask you to prepare something playful: a game, a manual activity, or something else that creates a certain dynamic and connection.

There are three formulas:

  • BASIC: stand 3 x 3 m, tent, table (€150);
  • INTERMEDIATE: stand 3 x 3 m, tent, table, with electricity (€175);
  • EXTRA: stand 3 x 5 m, 2 tables, electricity in Palace 12 (€200).

You can win a free stand if you manage to register with a group of more than 100 people.

Book a stand via this form: https://forms.gle/gLuke8PagoaH8E2A7

Your registration will be final once the form has been completed and payment has been received by Friday 13 September.
